What I've Watched#
Movies#
- Little Red Riding Hood Encounters a Corpse: A bit more bizarre than expected, but luckily there are plenty of beautiful girls.
- Full Metal Shell: The plot is somewhat disjointed between the first half and the latter half, feels like telling two stories, as always, an anti-war theme, fairly average.
- The Great Gatsby: Truly a masterpiece, the details are just too many, another five-star movie for me.
- Oppenheimer: The first time I felt so exhausted watching a movie in the theater, too many scientists appeared, as someone with face blindness, I couldn't match them at all, Nolan changed quite a bit of historical facts, not quite to my liking.
Animation#
- Disillusionment Season 5: After waiting for so long, it eventually fell into the mainstream theme of love and peace, ended quite poorly, although there are reasons for Netflix wanting to cut it, in reality, the rhythm was already off in the fourth season, a bit of a pity.
- Rick and Morty Season 11: The first episode couldn't hide the fact that after ten years, it's back to reap what it sowed, the plot is boringly mocking this and that, but we still love to watch it 😭.
Books#
- The Art of Thinking: A reference book that can be taken out for online debates.
- Cult Movies: A Subcultural History: Reference book.
- Modern Cryptography Tutorial: A decent teaching book.
Tools#
- Back to using
feedly
andobsidian
intensively during idle work hours, added functionality based ondocsify
for online viewing of notes. - I've been using
Teambition
as a personal media library, the free version allows adding three fields to cards, and switching between board and list views, which suits my needs perfectly; but recently, it's becoming less user-friendly, with quite a few basic functions being moved to the subscription version, so I have to consider migrating to other software. - I'm learning Go again, I really can't understand Rust 😭.
Life#
- Another very busy month, working for a long time has made me lose the carefree confidence I had just after graduation, of course, it may also be due to the overall environment, staying in Shanghai for a long time has slowly given me a sense of daily life, and with it, more trivial matters. On the first weekend, I went to Baijing to hang out with Jing ✌, the second week I helped my sister move to college, back and forth with high intensity, then I met friends and saw a doctor, in short, there's no weekend where I can rest properly 🆘.
- This month I was pleasantly surprised to find a stray black kitten, always wanting a black one, I happily brought the kitten home, but the little kitten was too lively, trying to jump on the bed in the middle of the night failed and also scratched my leg causing it to bleed. After some investigation, I firmly believed that the kitten most likely didn't carry the rabies virus, for the sake of legal evidence, I didn't get vaccinated, the good news is it's still alive, the bad news is unfortunately, my already rheumatic immune system is too weak and I ended up getting cat scratch fever, the symptoms are extremely itchy skin, joint pain, and a strange feeling, it's really annoying, although the black kitten didn't mean it, I still had to send it back.
- Bought the 15 Pro, so excited 😄.
